Meta Pex Plus is a premixed calcium hydroxide intracanal medicament used as a temporary dressing between root canal appointments to disinfect the root canal system, control exudate, and promote periapical tissue healing. Its strongly alkaline pH provides potent antibacterial activity against residual microorganisms following chemo-mechanical preparation, including the highly resistant Enterococcus faecalis. The premixed consistency simplifies clinical application using a lentulo spiral, syringe, or file, ensuring complete canal fill without time-consuming manual mixing.
