MD Chelcream is a professional EDTA-based chelating cream formulated for use during root canal preparation to remove the smear layer, decalcify peritubular and intertubular dentin, and facilitate instrumentation of narrow or calcified root canals. Applied on the working end of endodontic files before insertion, it lubricates the canal walls and reduces the risk of file separation during instrumentation. By removing the smear layer and opening dentinal tubules, MD Chelcream improves the penetration of endodontic irrigants and medicaments into the canal system, enhancing disinfection efficacy. Its creamy consistency allows easy application from the syringe and ensures good contact between the chelating agent and canal walls throughout the shaping procedure. Compatible with sodium hypochlorite and other standard endodontic irrigants.
